Building Permit
Building permits are handled through Scott County ePermits.

Accessory Buildings And Structures requirements (PDF) as set forth in the Scott County Zoning Ordinance No. 3 which can also be located on the Scott County Web-site at www.co.scott.mn.us.
Burning Permit
Burning Permits are required for all burning.
- Belle Plaine – Burning Permits are obtained for a $25 fee at the Belle Plaine City Hall.
- Jordan – Burning Permits are obtained for a $25 fee at the Jordan City Hall.
- New Prague – Burning permits will be issued by appointment only. The fire station offices are NOT manned on a full time basis. We are unable to issue permits on a “walk up” basis. Permits may be obtained by calling one of the following numbers:

Installation and Modification of Driveway/Culvert Permit
Right-of-Way User Permit
A person may not construct, install, repair, remove or relocate facilities, or any part thereof, or otherwise open or disrupt any public ground without first obtaining a permit from the Township; please refer to Ordinance No. 3.
Individual Sewage Treatment System (ISTS) Permit
- An ISTS Permit Application can be obtained at the Scott County Government Center, a Township Board meeting, or by emailing the clerk. For further information, please refer to the Scott County website.
